Learning, Teaching and Training Activity in Belgrade, Serbia!
On the 9th and 10th of April, our team immersed themselves in the LTTA (Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity) of the Circular STEM project. From delving into Circular Economy modules in STEM Education to planning pilot activities, every moment was a step towards a sustainable future!
The project will develop an interdisciplinary methodology that creates clear links between circular economy concepts and school subjects.
International Policy Uptake Conference!
As part of Work Package 4 – EU Policy Paper, the Circular STEM partnership organised the International Policy Uptake Conference, a high-level event designed and coordinated by the European Digital Learning Network (Dlearn), the Italian partner of the project. The initiative aimed to foster dialogue between education professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders on the future of sustainability and Circular Economy education in Europe.
Held across four sessions in Vignate, Milan, Pioltello, and Rome, the Conference gathered more than 100 participants from educational institutions, national and regional authorities, schools, and civil society organisations. Each session focused on a specific policy dimension — from local implementation to systemic reform — ensuring a broad and inclusive exchange of perspectives.
Discussions centred on the policy recommendations developed within the project, outlining strategies to integrate Circular Economy competences into STEM curricula, strengthen teacher professional development, and align educational innovation with the EU’s Green and Digital transitions.
The Conference, led by Dlearn, successfully strengthened collaboration between institutional actors and educators, paving the way for the long-term adoption of Circular STEM principles in European education systems and contributing to the sustainability and policy impact of the project’s results.
